Sketchy neighbourhood, but a mixed bag of patrons, and the food is worth it...

Had both chicken tacos and beef tacos ..
The beef was just "Ok" - the meat was a little chunky/sinewy, but the chicken was totally delicious... really really good!

$2/taco, and I'd do it all again (but just the chicken next time).

Taqueria Sinaloa, you have my mom's stamp of approval! Actually, my super picky mom admitted that this might be the best place I've taken her to so far. In fact, this is one of my go-to stops when taking out of town guests on my foodie adventures.

    Tacqueria Sinaloa, you're THAT good!

I've only been here at night and there is always a line when I come. You can't go wrong with any of the options. Everything here is delicious! I've had their regular and super sized burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and tortas. I usually get the tacos, so I can have a little bit of this and that. I've tried many of their protein options, with pescado (fish), camaron (shrimp), and lengua (beef tongue) being my favorites. The carnitas (pork) is super bomb here since it's slightly crunchy yet tender and juicy, but it must be eaten asap after receiving the order so the quality of the carnitas is not compromised. REPEAT, EAT THE CARNITAS ASAP!!

Just don't forget to bring cash as this establishment is cash only. They have an ATM on site. But the first time I came, we went all over town looking for a Bank of America ATM and little did I know, many ATMs are off duty at night. We did find a working one at FoodMaxx, so that's your best bet.

Taco Sinaloa, thank you for making my mom's first food truck experience superb!

Ok so this is the second time I have been here to Taqueria Sinaloa for their burrito.  The first time was terrible, but it was my fault for ordering a burrito w/fried carnitas to be eaten later.  I should have known better then to try and eat fried pork later.  This burrito literally tasted like eating a lard sandwich (yuck). Not really their fault though.  I took 2 bites and tossed the rest of the burrito.  For those of you that don't know Taqueria Sinaloa is a food truck.

To be fair I decided to give them another chance.  This time a large part of my family was here from all over the country for my brothers daughter who graduated from San Luis Obisbo (SLO).  We have been hearing about the burritos from Taqueria Sinaloa & made a stop in Oakland to see what the fuss is all about.  We pulled in around 9pm from SLO ordered and waited.

I was expecting crunchy, crispy pork carnitas.  I hear that the food quality can vary quite a bit.  The burrito was pretty good, but hardly a life changing event.  I would like to try one that is super crispy.  We all ordered an $8 burrito which was more than enough (In fact I didn't even finish the whole thing).  They have a $12.00 super burrito which I saw,  it was ginormous and enough to feed 2 or 3 people

There are articles & forums saying this is the best burrito truck in the Bay Area (comparing this one with La Flor on 21st St in Richmond) my boyfriend said. So when he suggested the truck while we were in town, i couldn't refuse. BEST truck in the bay tho?! Gotta try.

Truck is off the freeway making that convenient and it has a pretty good size parking lot. There's a pretty big outside seating area under shade where there's even a TV & bathroom.

$14 for the super burrito but the size was definitely worth the price! It was basically 2 burritos! We got the super carne asada burritos with extra sour cream. Also ordered an Al pastor taco. The al pastor was more a BBQ sauce taste than spicy pork just a heads up on that. But the burritos were sooooooo goood!!!!!!! As big as that thang was, i couldn't finish it but had it again the next day, and it was almost even better since all the tastes has time to sit together for awhile.

Comparing this truck to La Flor..... i still gotta say La Flor is my favorite but this one is definitely up there!!!!!!
